MortgageStream links up with PYV

MortgageStream Mortgage Case Management Software has joined with insurance broker PYV Ltd.

PYV is one of the specialist providers of Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) to Mortgage and General Insurance intermediaries.

The tie up will mean that MortgageStream users who purchase their PII cover from PYV will qualify for a preferential rate on their annual PI insurance. In addition, new and existing PYV clients will automatically qualify for an introductory discount off the annual license fee for MortgageStream.

Simon Lovat, assistant director for PYV Limited said: “We recognise that an intermediary who uses a dedicated Mortgage and General Insurance case management system is able to demonstrate a fully compliant audit trail covering the entire mortgage and GI sales and application process. We are keen to encourage intermediaries to employ best practices to run their back office. Intermediaries that use MortgageStream software should be able to demonstrate higher principles in their compliance procedures, thus helping to reduce their insurance risk.
